Request to Inspect and/or Copy Public Records


RIGL Chapter 38-2 requires public agencies, including the Department of Administration, to provide access to certain public records. The records that are affected, as well as exclusions, cost and response deadline are described in Chapter 38-2. The Department of Administration has adopted policies and procedures to assist the public in making these requests. The Department of Administration has also developed a request form to make such requests.

These two documents are attached below.

Pursuant to requirements of U.S. Public Law 40.1-24 Section 1616(e) of the Social Security Act (Keys Amendment), a summary of standards that apply to non-institutional facilities where Supplemental Security Income (SSI) recipients reside or are likely to reside are available for review at the Division of Planning, Department of Administration, One Capitol Hill, Providence, RI. between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
